General Leia Organa Ring
Have you watched The Last Jedi and The Force Awakens? Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa can be seen with this dramatic ring with two blue lapis-style stones in an Arts and Crafts swirl. The General Leia Organa Ring is a replica of the ring that Leia is seen wearing in these movies. It is an awesome addition to the Star Wars “Space Jewelry”.
The Blue Ring
Speculation on the fan sites states that this is her engagement ring from Han Solo. However this could be unlikely, mainly because it is spotted that she is wearing it on her right hand not left. In The Last Jedi, she can be seen wearing a ring with a gem that looks like an opal on her left hand . If they still follow the old-fashion rule that, it would be most certain that it could be her engagement ring and a way of holding on to Han’s memory.
We dug up more speculations we have found on the net:
- Leia’s ring is a “Mother’s ring” and that the 2 blue gems symbolize her two children: Ben and the child who now calls herself Rey.
- The twin blue gems represents she herself and the other as Luke?
- Wedding Ring?
In The Last Jedi visual dictionary book, it is noted as a ‘signet ring’. Regardless of the true meaning, the General Leia Organa Ring is available and in stock for you to own.
The ring came packaged inside a black gift box which makes it a lovely presentation if giving this as a gift. The box measure roughly 2″ each side. The ring is held on a dark foam insert with a velvet-like feel for the extra protection and exquisiteness.
The ring is made from zinc-alloy and plated in silver or gold. It is available in ring sizes 5 to 9, able to fit most fingers of most women. The design consists of a twisted strand that goes round the 2 blue stones. It is symmetrical so wearing it either way is ok.
The 2 blue faux gems have a lovely blue tone and they certainly look gorgeous among the intertwining strands.
This General Leia Organa ring is a must-have for any Leia fan. Having so much emotional significance behind it, as well as being a lovely jewelry design on its own makes this not to be missed. Great for cosplays or simply casual dress-up to watch the latest Star Wars movie. It would even make for a lovely engagement ring for that special Star Wars fan – who knows what a geeky couple can think of?
